ok m8 cheers, no worrys if you need it i'll get one from the scrappy. Some ones cut the flanges off mine and welded it all together as a whole system!

best bet is to cut a plate as normal but in 2 parts, 1 big rectangle and another smaller semi circle for the top bit and then just tack weld it in, u will still need a load of filler tough but just get the easy sand on it and 40 grit it dwn and it wont take to long!

DAY 2 PROGRESS.............only had hour and half today
have only had hour and half today inbetween shifs at work, back to work in a min, happy with progress tho!! off to c me gf after work tonight then crack on again in the number plate recess tomorrow!!!!

was happy, got more done than i planned! thanx for advice on number plate recess C4 WLK was jus wondering if there was an easier way then that one that i had not thought off, that wud mean less filler and rubbing down!

Just outta curiousity how much are you charging for all the work???
How much would you take for a full re-spray in the same colour as the car no body mods or anything like that except fixing cracked B pillars

well to be honest really busy at the min in for the next 3-4 months really! if u had spare time i wud do it no prob just cant at the min, if i eventually get any spare time will start asking on here if people want work doing!!!

at least £1300 - £1500 worth of work there so wouldnt be rude to ask for £1000 over all!
but i presume ur getting payed cashso not to bad really!

that was when i was doing jagcorsa bout 2 years ago never welded before and just welded it all up thought wow that looks good then realise i had got door so hot when welding i had warped it! oppppps, still find it really hard and have to be careful not to warp things, doors seem really easy to warp
