"The red Ferrari Enzo — one of only 400 ever made and worth more than $1 million — broke apart Tuesday when it crested a hill on PCH going 120 mph and slammed into a power pole"
Back end must of light going over brow of hill, lost traction and fucked off into pole
Cant believe they still haven't found out who the owner is. Surely it takes a matter of minutes to bang some details into a computer and come up with the owner. Providing there is anything left of the car to recognise its identity

-Mini with fat woman in
-metro 1.1 with naff tyres and two up
-volvo estate that wasn't trying
You mean you can beat a Enzo when it has 2 wheels and its endgin is 1/2 a mile behind it

One in Ferrari musuem, 400 were made 399 for sale iirc
Also the to own one you had to be chosen by ferrari and previously owned an F40 and F50
So the people who own an Enzo can't be that hard to track down

"You pay a million bucks for a car, you expect safety," Brooks said.
What an idiot. He bought a road going race car FFS.
On another note. Whenever an Enzo crashes they always seem to go airborne, and disintegrate. Scary

unless their designed to do that? like an F1 car is designed to separate in the event of a heavy accident.

that isnt true. You had to apply for one, and so many were allocated to each country. But you didnt have to own a Ferrari in the past, but it did push you further up the list if you did.
Jay Kay has never owned an F40 or F50 but he has a black Enzo.

its because of the aero-dynamics of the underside. Its aimed to keep them on the floor, but as soon as it gets slighty into the air it acts like a wing and pushes it up!

How does this affect it? They know who owns it, he's in some of the pictures. He was just not in the driver's seat.

F1 cars are designed to do it so the fuel tanksand engine break away to save the driver if the car explodes.

So the owner let some guy who he doesn't know drive and crash it. He must have more money than merely buying an Enzo would suggest.
I liked the quote:
"But he had a bloody lip, and only the air bag on the driver's side had blood on it. The passenger-side air bag did not. My Scooby-Doo detectives are looking closely into that"

They are designed to come apart at high speed the same as an F1 car leaving the passenger compartment relatively intact.
