well thank god it aint them.they just foned and its the air mass flow meter thats faulty causing it to misfire.they say they have 2 scoobys in just now that have the same prob.there gona get a new1 for me so hopfully il get it back tomorrow. also just got a price for an hks front mount + fitting and an other remap. £1500 which i think is quite good. think il book it in for that soon.

thats quite steep is it not?!
can get the full FMIC kit with all piping on the bay for about £250-£300 a few hours work and you could easily fit it yourself...

there is that,but the quality of the kit would be shit.this is a hks kit with hard pipe rather than samco hoses.its takes about 4 hours to fit plus it will get remapped again to get more power out.

even just buy the HKS FMIC.... they will be taking a cut of that too...

well i spoke to paul as dastek today about the front mount etc and we came to as little deal.to suppy,fit and remap etc
suppy fit walbro 255 fuel pump
suppy and fit FMIC inc all pipework and hoses, modded the front bumper etc
supply and fit unichip
supply and fit ait mass meter
remapp everything etc etc
£1850 now is that a deel or is that a deal
sure be 300bhp+

Thats almost another scoob
a mate at a local garage has Motec management on his and i think that cost about the same price
his is running 350bhp
are u going to be using the standard turbo with this? i would reccomend the td05 turbo as it is bigger and uses the manifold and downpipe, will hold boost much higher up the revs!

il be running the standard Turbo just now but ill be going bigger soon. standard engine wont last 350hp for long.
am happy with the price at lease i no its getting done right.

its was meant to be 1500 full comp but if i paid cash,they would give me it for 1100.so i paid cash. 24 yrs old,3 years n/c with tesco.but iv been driving since i was 17 as iv had a company van.iv had no claims but some insurance companys dont count n/c from a company van.

deffo go for an import,only downside to an import is u need get its remapped when first comes over.which costs a bit.but if u by it already done ur laffin.its deffo worth it.wish i got one sooner.
