Thats a bit bad firstly having to wait two weeks for it to be fixed and then to find it being ragged around etc. Id push for some compensation of some sort, new tyres something like that....

As people have said its best to find a garage you trust and stick with it, but i presume your car is under warranty and therefore had to be done at vauxhall..

Id also press for compensation for having to drive around in a polo And the newspaper idea was good too

The garage i got my corsa from did this. They broke the dial and so tried glueing it back on which ran all down the dash over the headunit. There fuckup cost them all new dials and control panel, a new £300 alpine headunit and a new centre part of the dash

I dont like taking my car to the garage as it is as there dont realise how much us folk love our cars! I watched one mechanic try to get my speedline centre caps off, before i could say anything it sprung off and hit the floor! Grrr!

The lad who was driving your car like a pratt should get a warning at least.

Last time I saw my car getting ragged at a Vauxhall dealer I did a burnout outside the showroom.

Clearly if ragging a car is good enough for round the back, its good enough for outside the front windows next to the demonstrators and customers cars awaiting collection.

They didn't rag it the next time.

Whats this? A Vauxhall dealer fucking a customer around... I have never heard of that before

I don't get why they do this. Pisses me off, reminds me of when I needed a new fuel tank
