right been to garage, damage is priced around £2k need new boot floor, crash panel, cross member, tailgate, numberplate, light cluster, bumper and whole thing spraying as well as a few other odds and ends. Also went to docs just in case, i have damage to my neck so have been signed off on the sick for at least 2 weeks (losing loads of money through missing work) so have gone through insurance as other expensies are involved like hire car and prescriptions iv just paid for etc.
rang the guy to tell him whats happenin, hes started kicking off saying how im pulling a fast one and hes goina get me done etc (i already have a solicitor sorted out from my insurance company and obviously have doctors note to show im injured ((end of day why would the doctor lie)). so does he have a leg to stand on? or will i be ok? slightly worried....

You will be fine. You have a witness in that St.Johns Ambulance guy (if you can track him down). And he hit you, so he is in the wrong, nuff said. He wasn't tail gating or anything so he clearly didn't look to see if you'd stopped, which you had. All his fault.

your be fine, u took the work to the garage so if you have that written down with costs etc just show him and the doctors note is enought proof so your fine.

Of course you will be ok lynny. Everyone has the right to go through insurance as at the end of the day it was his fault the accident happened. It's unsuprising with your history of injuries with your neck, that it would've been hurt by the sudden jolt / whip lash - so you are entitled to compensation.
He's a bellend if he goes off on one.

I would just go through insurance. The fact that he is trying to sort things out via text message is slight embaracing on his behalf.
Also, no need to even speak to him again as you can go through solicitors.

Thing with muscular type injurys is they often don't flair up too badly until a few hours after the accident.

thats what doc has said, plus the fact that i was in shock (i couldnt drive for 20 mins after) so the pain wouldnt set in straight away. im now on a nice little mixture of zydol, codeine, solphadol, volterol, etc

If he went into the back of you he is at fault. He hasn't a leg to stand on. Didn't leave enough braking distance.
Hope it all gets sorted

ed - insurance company has advised me to claim, said i could get a bit from it
matty - he admitted infront of me and nath that he had no intention of stopping at the roundabout, it was dark and snowing, road conditions weren't great. by the sound and the length of the skid he made before hitting me he must have been going some speed!
