They are rallye headlight mate, corrado headlights are different i think, dont have the little grill underneath them.

I maybe wrong though.

I'd have the Zodiac, the Cob replica and possibly the Healey, but they can poke them god awful MGBs up themselves.

Cobra's genuine i think mate.

Manufactured 31st Dec 1972, they didn't make that good of a kit back then.

One that same colour near me and its a genuine AC

Possibly.

If it is, it's extremely unusual and worth a lot of dough.

As far as I know, the last AC Cobra was built in 67, and the last new one registered, was about a year or so after that.

There have been companies from all over the world making Cobra replicas for years, but there were literally dozens of companies in America turning out replicas from as far back as 1966, whilst the genuine car was still in production.

The car in question could have been a non production model that someone made road legal a few years later and registered as new, or it could just be an old plate fitted to the car, or it could even be a replica built and registered that year.

It would more than likely, have had to have been a factory car, made from all new parts to escape 'Q' plate legislation. This could explain the apparently excellent standard of finish.

It may have even undergone a body-off restoration at some time and had some improvements.

I'd be very interested to find out more about it, because if it is a genuine Cobra, it's unbelievably rare and ridiculously valuable.

Bit weird as a passenger in a Rallye being LHD,

The moment you pull out to pass and your 1st to realise a wagon heading your way.

But I would love one, especially my mates he throwing so much money at the G60 engine currently 250bhp but will increase in the future im sure
