Maintenance may be costly but it'll be worth it. If they have a cambelt make sure its been done as Audi cambelts are always big jobs and will be big money.

What are servicing costs etc like on these?

TBH i dont know but i doubt it will be cheap, like i said if they have cambelts they will be dear. My dad used to have an RS6 and front pads just supplied, not fitted they were £250 at cost price, not sure what the retail price on them was.

That would be true of most of them. but not all.

My calibra had done 62k when i got it and its 11years old!

because I considered one before I got the vectra but felt I could not risk somthing happening to a car that would cost shit loads to be repaired

Thats a fair comment but still doesnt answer how you can find low miler examples?

it might not cost as much as you think to fix either.

Competent independant audi specialist should suffice

Exactly it's always gonna be a worry, tbh a v6 with 2 turbo's is gonna be more costly than something with less valves/cylinders/turbo's/driving wheels but fuck it audi bits can be had cheapish from euro part place. Imo it's not gonna be as costly as something jap
