cause you havnt got a clue - how can you say the job would take you just a few hours when you dont know the extent of the damage or even if the piece is reuseable - or a new pice needs moulding in!

from what i have seen of your work on here it hasnt been great, anyway arent you just at college or sumthing doing it as part of a project or sumthing?

smoothing lumpy/uneven etc, i cant recall exact things but i remember when looking at the pics noticing things that stood out as being not too good
and the only real experience you have is from being at college and doing a few things on the side and for projects etc, doesnt really make you an expert in this particular field does it

I'm not kicking off, but you dont really know what your doing tbh, I doubt very much that Jacko would give his "cover" car to an unreputed "bodyshop" ( your dad's garage I'm guessing) whos only ever shown work on one car and that was minimal - there were no pictures of any glass work!
You have no insight into the work that needed doing on Jackos car, bar one picture, which he himself stated didnt show all of the damage, yet you reckoned you could do it in a day
regardless of what you think - when it comes to fibreglass / carbons / composites / kevlars / epoxies / polyeurathane / fillers / balloons/inhibitors/star dust
I know considerably more than you! - by fibreglass I dont mean than vile pink shit in a can which has no strength properties and comes with shite resin, even worse glass and in general should not be used!

now now ladies!
i believe you are still doing your college course and i personally wouldnt trust you to do the car!
i am doing my apprenticeship and even though i can paint very well i wouldnt trust my self personally to do anything like this yet but i would have to let another person to the bodywork cos there is alot involved there!
Gd luck getting it fixed though, is that the rear arch cracked aswell?

I dont really know much about paint etc but can a flip paint just be repaired as simple as that because ive heard in teh past that if a flip gets sctratched/damaged then it needs a full respray.
Have i been given false info?
