So does the normal Turbo one and the 2.2 16v.
For me
VX220 - BMW - Elise, reason is that Elise has a crappy Rover engine that will need headgasket doing every 20 miles.

Honda designed.
I'd have to have the VXT, and an omega for towing it around

no the 2ZZ-GE is Yamaha designed, the ZZ family built originally in the USA, with the 2ZZ-GE built in Japan, since its main use was in the jap spec Celica's and Corollas, USA and Australian spec Corollas and of course the Lotus Elise and Exige

The only Elise id have is the 111R with the nice Toyota engine over a VX N/A.
Why?
VX N/A has a far better, more reliable engine than the K Series
Has better safety: ABS & Airbag
Insurance is 50% () cheaper than a bog-standard S2 (for me that is)
Cheaper to maintain
The VX styling has cleaner lines and the wide rear end looks like a supercar
And its a Vauxhall .
Add some neons if the interior looks dull

VX, then Elise.
A 318 BMW must be about as much fun as a 1.2 Corsa
