Similar with mine, still not running right, only holds 7psi, should be holding 17!! but am gonna play about with it next few days try to get it sorted, have some summer fun then sell it. Just keeps swallowing more and more money though, even when I'm trying to not spend on it! grrrr!

Will be good when youve got it sorted though mate, think of the fun!

I have fixing points to weld in.... just wondered about the two rears?!

One rear uses existing mount, and there is one to the side, as in pic.

There isnt much space beside the orig mount for another :/

use the mount for the cage/rear beam, thats gonna be fairly sturdy

Ideally, you want to mount off harness's pick up in the cage, as mounting off the floor can collapse the seat in a impact. but otherwise, doubel up on the centre mounting point on the floor.

tought about that....

the cage mount bolts are behind the cage.... meaning the securing eye wouldnt be sitting naturally straight as it is ubstructed by the cage.

I have to weld in the two front inside ones today, so i'll see what i can do, ken

can you not bolt the two straps to the single rear mount? - take the side one across to the same place as the other one?

Mk2 rallycross escort I was using a year or so back had the rear straps like that

just read my explaination and it made no sense to me either

I meant take the two rear straps and mount them from the same location?

yup.... got that in the end

still need to weld one in for the front inside.

I have weld in eye bolts plates, and funny zinc looking supports....

i never dealt with them.... Gav Wallace is on their case trying to see if they will have a look at the engine with it in the car. Rather than stripping the engine again, sending it up to dundee etc...

I'd idealy just like the work done and someone pic up the bill

right....

Wallace have been on to AGRA, AGRA have agreed to inspect the car at Dastek. So dastek are stripping the head off the car now to try and see whats up. Agra will then examine the block to see whats at fault.
