dont think you can do 1.8 mark, 1.7 is possible

unless you can get a Z18XE in, but that was my plan

yeah, but X16XE is "only" 106bhp

Z18XE is good enough for 230bhp with a turbo, and probably about the same on TBs, thats why i wanted one

Z18 bottom end wont mate to X16 Head

need to use the whole Z18 engine, still bolts in the same thoughm just head is different

can pick them up for about £500 with really low miles though

i've looked into it though, need the whole engine as the sensor layout is different and the looms wont match

it will fit though, similar dimensions, small block engine, so you can use F15 box

easiest way to do it would be standalone management, as the vauxhall ECU/wiring from new model might be a bit complicated
