E-type S1 3.8(dhc) 150mph 7.4sec 0-60
E-type S1 3.8(fhc) 150mph 7.2sec 0-60
E-type S1 4.2(dhc) 153mph 7.6sec 0-60
E-type S1 4.2(fhc) 153mph 7.6sec 0-60
E-type S1 4.2 2+2(fhc) 139mph 8.3sec 0-60
E-type S2 4.2(dhc) 139mph 8.0sec 0-60
E-type S2 4.2(fhc) 139mph 8.0sec 0-60
E-type S2 4.2 2+2(fhc) 139mph 8.5sec 0-60
E-type S3 V12(dhc) 146mph 6.8sec 0-60
E-type S3 V12 2+2(fhc) 146mph 6.8sec 0-60
The V12 was quicker 0-60 but not as fast top end. Also the extra weight
of the V12 would have ruined the handling compared to the straight six in the 3.8 and 4.2

Sorry Brad, silly mistake, typing too fast, I know full well that Weber Alpha is the name of Weber's complete (and very expensive - always wanted a set, but could never afford it) throttle body set-up, whereas the Nova just has some management tweeks.
But Webcon are actually the UK distributors/agents for Weber and Weber Alpha products (amongst others).

Wrong, slow as shit, and only the press cars could achieve the magic 150mph.
The rush to build cars was such, due to demand, that build standards were poor.
Brakes were also poor on early cars.
They also look gay. Gay gay gay.

Or were you raped by a V12?

the elusive press car, 9600 hp was the reg was it not? just been fully restored.
it apperently had d-type spec cams and head work over the standard cars...
my dads 4.2 has d-type spec cams and head work, and boy does it fly, it was also used by bosch to fit the first injection system too, however it was removed as it was rubbish
