Its difficult to get it right....not enough and it just bogs down and you go nowhere...too much and you still go nowhere...just sit on the line spinning!
The DCCD on mine helps a lot with the launches....gives it more grip
I usually sit at about 5-5.5k...but even then its still a hit or a miss
Just need to practice until you get whats best for your car

Best to hold at 5.5k and keep blipping up to 6k so when you launch you dont lose too many revs. Similar to how race bikes set off.

Have exedy racing clutch, lightened flywheel, and reconditioned STi V5 type R box, so hopefully the transmission can take the odd bit of abuse

Its taken me a while to get used to the short gearing too...the first couple of times I trued I hit the red line in almost every gear
