Agreed x 1000,000 Three cheers for the welder indeed .

I am VERY impressed.

I've only ever seen two other men weld like that.

One was a competion car prep man, who specialised in cages. The other is the chap who i've been going to for 14 years, who does nothing but welding and has been doing it for over 20 years.

Thats exactly what i am mate! Although im not coded, im self taught over last 10 years since i was 16 when i started messin with cars!

Thanks for all the good comments!

Think im going to move the rear beam to the other side of the rear leaf springs, will probably drop it about 80mm, not sure if its too much!

Well managed to get a day on the van today, started about 11ish, started with removing the bulk head sound deadening then giving the front a steam clean, then put it back on a ramp to strip the front end down to paint under the bonnet!

Anyway i happy with the result and will start rebuilding the front back up tomorrow when the paint has dryed properly!

Smart. Is it going to be 2 tone or are you going for just a red bay?

Eventually all the van will be this colour, but for now i need it on the road!

If you dont have a go at it yourself you will never learn!
