Tar mate, and yep, theres definatly a hole.

I work at a car repair garage, and if a tailgate has a small dent in etc, it will be repaired, but then all the tailgate will be stripped, so it will get all badges taken off and locks etc. So ive seen plenty of the badges been taken off. Buy a new rear badge and spray it black, and put that on.

Took me about 30 mins for rear badge, both side rub strips, and to give it all a quick polish over so you couldnt tell a badge had been there.

I took off all these bits last saturday, My Method was :
1) Get an Old 'E' Guitar String (Thin one )
2) use it as a crude saw and cut along the felt behind the Bits until they all fall off.
3) Now all that is left is the Adhesive with some felt ontop.
4) I used a small piece of wood along with (in the end) alot of white Spirit and After 2-3 hours of soaking/rubbing All the felt and adhesive came off.

Reason I did it this was Is I didn't wana risk screwing something up using my Hot air gun, And while this way is less risk and takes quite a while, the results are absoultely flawless

I wouldnt go anything near a metal thing to do this piece of work

Yes 2-3 hours was a while But Using my method there is 100% no sign it was there and I didn't have to do any polishing/T Cut afterwards was all perfect, Taking the time also minimised the large risks either scratching, Paint Issues etc
All worth it in the end heh

Ohh so you aren't confused what took 2-3 hours was the Badges on the Back, the eco Crap Badges on the side and the 4 Bumper Strips on the side, that May be why you think it took me a long time are you talking about ALL these or just the Vaux badge for e.g.

cheers m8, well the 'vauxhall' seem to come off no probs, it was just the 'corsa' and irmscher that took the piss, used hot water, bug and tar remover everythin to try and get the sticky glue stuff off, its pretty much all dun now just a tiny little bit left on but u can hardly see it, am gonna gve it another gud wash at the weekend and get the remainin little bits of glue off.
