29: Emergency vehicles. If an ambulance, fire engine, police or other emergency vehicle approaches using flashing blue lights, headlights and/or sirens, keep off the road.

180-200: Road users requiring extra care

Other vehicles
194: Emergency vehicles. You should look and listen for ambulances, fire engines, police or other emergency vehicles using flashing blue, red or green lights, headlights or sirens. When one approaches do not panic. Consider the route of the emergency vehicle and take appropriate action to let it pass. If necessary, pull to the side of the road and stop, but do not endanger other road users

taken from the link.

My two cousins were almost killed last year by a Fire Engine answering an emergency call. Several cars had pulled over to let the fire engine past, on the brow of a hill. The Fire Engine was overtaking the cars on the brow of a hill when it collided with there bike head on

Lee was only 17 at the time, both he and his dad suffered horrendous injuries which has left both of them disabled for life.

Even a year on, there is still a fear that Lee may lose his leg, they are trying pioneering treatment at the moment

thing iv never understood is that if the police and the law say that its dangerous to speed and endangers lives, then why do police (on call outs, and maybe to save 1 life) do they have the right to speed around and endanger many more lives :boggles: surely if its dangerous for us to drive fast, its dangerous for them to aswell

and at u lot and the royal mail joke
