If someone is going to overtake you as your going slower GET OUT THE WAY. It doesnt matter how fast they are going. Thats not your problem.
80mph isnt slow, but it is if someone is trying to overtake you.
The unwritten speedlimit on the mway is 80mph anyway, police wont book you for it and cameras dont go off at 80.
As RCB stated u encourage undertaking, swallow your pride and let the person going faster get past you!

Yeah but if the person behind knew anything about Corsa's he'd know you're retarded as you have to lift it up to stick it in reverse

YOU were the traffic!!
Pillocks like you hold everyone else up, get in the slow/middle lane if you don't want to exceed 80mph!

Was being tailgated by Renault Laguna Estate he caught up with me in a 30 doing about 60 just slowed down to piss him off. 1 mile down the road he pulled into a golf course don't know if that is a valid reason for speeding!?

Limit is 70, i dont see a problem on blocking someone wanting to go faster, its the same as in a 30. 70 is the limit even in the fast lane. I wouldnt do it myself though, if they want to go faster thats there choice, theyre the ones risking getting caught.

Your statement is invalid.
There is no fast lane as marc says. There are 2 overtaking lanes, if you are not overtaking another vehicle i.e going faster, then move over and stop causing traffic jams and stopping the whole motorway system functioning.
It only takes one car to block that lane, to which if the other 2 are lsightly busy means a big fat tailback and speeds of 50mph in the "fast" lane.

I have done this a few times, most people are trying to intimate you off the road or just pissed cause u pulled out infront of them, this trick usually calms them down
as for slamming on the brakes this is also a good tactic, dont use it on everyone but some people need to be taught e.g. when i was driving just as fast as everyone else getting back to work keeping the same 1-2 cars distance as everyone and some twat looked to be trying to impress his g/f but tailgating me.
at the end of the day i get really pissed when people drive <30mph at nite on a totally open road i find 40mph more acceptable, in the case above i was driving the same as everyone else in a normal fashion and that twat needed to be shown.
a quick slam on the brakes, which caused him to have an instant brown pants moment and locking up momentarily. however after this he stopped tailgating me.
also when doing this you really do have to be careful as you only want to slam on the brakes just long enough so they come quite close not so they actually hit

People who sit in the outside lane, no matter what speed they are doing, if not overtaking, can't drive.
Simple as that.
One of the 1st rules is keep left.
It's got nothing to do with any speed limits.
It causes so much trouble on the motorway.
If the mentality is i'm doing 70 and nobody is getting by you shouldn't have a license imo.

i dont often go in the slow lane on the motorway simply for the fact the road surface is so poor in with the grooves from lorries my car is pulled all over the shop.........
