Is he allowed to see who is using his site?
Yes
In your case it would be too hard to see who you are/where you live etc
Your IP would give info about where you are/who you connect with. Then your email address contains your surname
So if you know your area & your surname often the BT directory can give you an answer
Sometimes he needs to know this if he thinks you're breaching the computer misuse act
