Gerrard can change a game and drive the whole team forward like no other player in the world at the moment.
Henry is just an amazing forward (for Arsenal!)
Ronaldinho can produce something from nothing and has more ball skills than anyone at the moment.
Terry is a no nonsense centre back and rarely makes mistakes.
gotta agree there its very hard to pick the best when there are so many different types of player. But Ronaldhino's ability to turn a game with one piece of magic makes him my worlds best

Henry... no striker like him in the world... Ronaldinho is probably the most skilful player of all tiem but end of the day henry bangs in 30 a seaosn for his team... no-one else has that record!
Rooney is the most impressive English player perhaps of all time IMO!

Andy Booth - Best headerer of a ball in the world
Best player - Henry for me. Not just for his skills etc, but for the way he plays the game. Never seems to have a go at anyone, if someone plays him a bad ball he will never have a go but more often that not applaud the attempt. Doesn't cheat or roll around like some players, never really a bad word to say about anyone. Model professional

Don't be ridiculous Rooney is a legend but he isn't the same kind of player and certainly, goal-scoring wise, in the same league as Henry!
Goals scored by Henry consistently in a season - 30+
Goals set-up by Henry consistently in a season - 20+

Rooney is much better than Henry, simply because Henry is a French twat

Too many players who to choose from, i wont be bias and name any Manchester United players though [although a lot are contenders]
I would say it is out of Ronaldo or Zidane.
I find it interestering how many players have said Scholes is the best player they have ever come up against recently, including Iniesta, Xavi, Zidane & Thierry Henry calign him the best player of his generation etc

Scholes is a quality player and no doubt one of the best of his generation, yet doesnt seem to be top of anyones lists... if you see what I am getting at?!
