1 x x16xe
1 x bucket seat
1 x 5 point harness

what else does it need

u missed off fiat punto gt as an option, can pick them up very cheaply these days.

thats wot i wud have anyway.

205..... pick upa pre-prepped car for 1500

A 306 GTi6 is all fair and well.... but thats your budget gone!

Tyres/Pads etc arent free.

106 Rallye
106 with 1.6 16v transplant

I'd be weary of a 205 Mi16 for track... not the most reliable! The 1.9 8v isnt a slow engine in standard form though

tyres/pads wouldnt be a problem, the amount of times it'd go out, it wouldnt cost me that much to start with

if i can sell all my bits, i'll get a 205, at least i know its gonna go round corners

Mark, i can get my old rad back, but thats not the point.... I've lost intrest in the car, and i'll never be happy with it unless i spend silly money on it, which i cant justify.

I'm a bit wary about XR2's, they seem to dissolve into a rusty heap very quickly

my brother used to have one, and it was quick... seems like a good option i suppose

just get a basic saxo - cheaper....then pop the engine in

your going to be replacing alot of the running gear anyway

BUT - saxo's are pish... so dont do that
