She was up for £7495 (before i threw 1.5k at it) when i bought her and the guy before had a shit load of interest. Anyway you need to see it in the metal to judge to be honest, it really is stunning for the year, only came into the country in 2004, id take the pepsi max challenge with any other early classic any day of the week. Only 60k miles, NEW engine, NEW diffs, NEW gearbox etc etc. Anyway its all irrelevant now

Agree mate Not denying it's an ace car. Just you'd struggle when a standard freshly imported WRX can be had and on the road for £3k that's all. Granted they may not be looked after as well as yours, or as fast, or had as much money thrown at it, but you'd definately need to find someone who could appreciate the level of work that has gone into it. It totally falls under the "modified car" market, as like a kitted corsa would (obviously not same league), so wouldn't be an "easy" sale I should imagine, as like the many 2.0 corsas sat waiting to be sold

Got STi rear clusters on the way, liek rocking horse shit. they regularly go for £200+ on ebay! for a standard manufacturers rear light cluster FFS. Managed to get some for £140.

I'd tend to disagree personally. A mate picked one up at auction for £2.5k, N reg, white, fully stripped out with roll cage, gauges everywhere, cobra buckets, had shit loads spent on it. Was ace.

My mate paid £3200 for a 96 plate WRX from jap land, 60,000 on the clocks, and its a very clean car!!

Engine still pulls strong, no smoke or tapping etc.

LOTS of car for the money IMO...

Looking good matey!!!!

You wont be dissapointed with the Whiteline kit, I got front ARB, rear ARB, front drop links, rear drop links and anti lift kit! Made more of a difference to the handling than nearly a grands worth of Tein coilovers!!!

That with uprated brakes are the best mods you can do IMO.

My last one cost me 3K and my new one cost me 3K and apart from me wearing the clutch out in my first one i've never had any problems with either of them

End of the day if you fuk with these cars ie increasing boost either by ditching the CAT's or with a valve without knowing what your doing then they are gonna go bang

i went TEIN/Toyo/Whiteline all at once...... changed the car completly.

Was very very arse happy before - underpower.... and just tried to sniff the bushed going into corners. A lot more precise/direct now

And not as harsh/crashy as the buddycup racing coilovers They are for sale by the way. Fee is cleaning them today

SetH,

A word of advice mate......go VERY careful with the Toyo T1-R`s

The first 500 miles they will be shite. Personally I wouldn't think about 'pushing on' until 1k in

Ensure you get them set to a suitable pressure...im sure scooby sites will give you some advice on that

As for track work? bin them.....5 laps in on a vx and they overheat and all grip goes west.....I can only imagine that will be far worse in a scooby
