Don't need a pit. I need the roof to be raised and the wall down the middle turned into a big door so I can fit a 4 post lift down the sorage end....

What use is a plasma cutter when I need a pipe bender for a project I am hopefully doing next year

Your car is booked in whenever you have the cash to go ahead with the pans you were talking about at the last meet, or whatever you want to do.

How come a pit costs so much too? Don't want a pit as you can get second hand 8 tonne Bradburys for £400-500 Got no where to set it up though, unless I can have it outside, or maybe in an un-used bay in out hay barn....

Could get a 2 post for similar ammounts. A pit isn't much use for taking engines out of cars or working on cars which are missing large ammounts of thier chassis, then again, neither is a 4 post. A 2 post would be the way forward. Though I don't think I'm allowed one

What's it got in it? Surely it's a hole with air, light and electricity Or do they have those jack things on them too?

u2u me your plans. I can give you a price, bearing in mind I am not a 'proper' business - just doing odd jobs for people who I know really - our prices are quite low... Can go from there...

Ahhhh, right. i know the sort of thing... One of those would be quite fun in my 'shop too. We used to have a pit in one of our barns, though it got filled in Wish I still lived at my old house. I had a triple length garage with a high ceiling so a ramp could be fitted, but it also had a pit in it

How did you paint the enderside of your car. Did you just use enourmous axle stands and get under it?
