Went over to north wales myself last Thursday. Over Llanberis and Beddgelert way. Fairly possible you went the same way i did (M6, M54, A5, A4086 and so on. One of them pictures looks like the stopping place on the A498 to me, cause i stopped there too :lol. Very nice roads over there though indeed, even in alittle stock corsa its great fun. Must do it again once i have some handling .

Scenery was a place called "snowdon" or something like that, very nice drive's the roads were so smooth .

Darkbhamust - We did go that way pretty much but on the way back we went a scenic route

Oli yes it was cold when we left in the morning

We were litrally over from the beach walk over the dune and our camp site was there
