My mate's nova was de-wiper'd etc so he had the rear wiper switch wired to open the boot release

hello mate i used a boot release from a audi a3 and you the wiper stalk to relaese the boot,it saves climbing over the rear seats u could maybe buy a solinoid kit but my a3 boot release was about £15 from audi and i think solinoid kits are about £25 upwards
