I've driven a few and didn't think they were all that quick.

Very tinny and cramped, and naughty torque steer too.

I'd rather a good Corsa anyday.

Btw, i'd say JR's remapped diseasel Lupio felt quicker than any GTi i've driven.

Good down the strip too.

my mate has a polo gti, an its got 146bhp


hes used to seein the back of my car with that bhp
