Defoe wasn't at his best last night, quite a few wayward passes but looked good on the ball.
Hargreaves was immense again. England looked like a more attacking team last night, Rio and Neville getting forward which is always good to see. Some good balls being played low into the central players, was good to watch.

Given defoes pace, he shouldn't have been offside as much as he was, seemed everytime the ball came near him he was given offside.
Agree with Dave, was a lot better to watch than england games have been for ages. Lot more fluent, crisper passing, which they had apparently been working on in training
