Anti roll bar= dont have as it was a c20xe converted corsa
parcel shelf= do have but its knackered
all wiper arms and linkage= do have
switches for leccy windows= dont have, they are part of the doorcards which were not included in the sale
interior carpet= dont have, the interior was not included in the sale
boot panels= no interior was included
boot liner= same as boot panels
rear dampers= not included
battery tray= was sent with the shell, I never removed it!
interior mirror= no interior was included
kick well panels= think you get the interior idea
brake servo= no brakes were included in the sale
all brake lines and cables.= no brakes were included in the sale.
I think the main factor here is that I was selling a SHELL not a complete car

really dont know what to say, I dont want to be funny but you bought a shell.
I will see whats available when the new shell arrives and if any of it is of any use to you can have it for the cost of p&p

and as for the thing you mentionad about finance and hpi etc...
the shell was never registered to me, I stripped it for a mate (viperboy off here) best to ask him about that situation as I cant comment. I did him a favour by stripping it on my drive for him. All I know is that he had a HPI certificate for the car when he bought it and it was all clear then.

you said:
engine and box
shafts and hubs
brakes (front)
grill
headlights
rear lights
exhaust
front and rear doorcards
seats
clocks
and there was a hell of allot more than that missing. so your now claiming the interior was included in sale, wouldnt it have been an idea to tell rob that?
And you said you would send some bits, which you didnt. Thats the argument, not the difference of what you deam a shell to be

Cars going in next week for passenger rear hub to be fitted so i was thinking whilst it was in to get the suspension done at the same time. However you can have fun with my brakes if you wish. From the Ukmvis site they didnt really give a definate answer ie the link i sent. Grrrr.

Everybody is saying how great Dave A is which i'm not going to dissagree with as I dont know him.
I know Rob (Calidus) and I know he was dissapointed with the shell from the very begining. People have brought up why it has took him so long to complain but from what I gather (well know) he has been keeping quiet recently due to not knowing what was happening with regards the finance situation.
I agree Rob probably should have looked at the shell before buying it and i also agree that if i was buying a shell I wouldnt have expected some of the parts rob has listed but then i wouldnt have paid that much money for a "shell" either.
I think what has annoyed him the most is the really fiddly bits which you would have expected to be in place namely brake and fuel lines and cables.
Daves offer to send Rob what he needs seems very fair but then when rob lists hwat he believes is missing he just gets a sarcastic reply in response?
Anyway only Rob can decide now how he wishes to proceed.

To suggest an interior mirror was part of the interior, its a wonder it had anything at all in it!

it was a shell that he bought.
no interior means NO interior.
should have viewed it before buying it.

but from what it says at the top of the page Dave, you didnt specifically say "no interior" you said "no doorcards, no seats"
but I dont want to get involved, its none of my business

to be honest i wasnt happy with the car i bought off him,
the lost MOT certificate was a joke, tax was almost up so i had to get it MOT'd and it cost me £200, i know it would have cost this in the end anyway but i wouldnt have had to cover those costs for another 6 months!
i was told he had just signed up for a years break down on the car which he would transfer into my name, when in fact the policy was cancelled the same week that i bought the car (i rang green flag and they told me this)
Also the digital display in the centre console wasnt working and he told me that it would be easy to fix and they often didnt work.
but the case was that the connector had been taken out the back and cut off and wasnt there!

DAVE A RIPPED ME OFF TOO.
My story:
In APRIL (!) I purchased one rear door card off Dave A for £25(!), 3 weeks before donny show as I was desperate for one for the show. I told him many times I needed it for donny show. It didnt show up until after the show even when I rang and PMd him countless times - all courteously. Even when I finally received the door card the postmark was dated the day before the show so it was never going to get here till the next week! (Had to leave for donny at 6am sat). So I sent it back at (my own cost) as I spent the day before the show frantically going round scrappies and finally got one (luckily). I asked for a half refund which I thought was fair as he has the part again to sell with his complete interior (dont quote me on what an interior involves:lol.
Dave A agreed to refund me half - and every PM still agrees to refund me but I never receive anything!!! Even 4 months later!
Ive had every excuse in the book from banks losing his details, to post missing, to after he gets paid, to payment in cash - AND STILL NO CASH.
What gets me is that Dave A has been very polite which is great but he has never lived up to his word with me. I hate having to get all 'handbags' but its pretty obvious Im not the only one he's messing around here.
DAVE A - Sorry mate, but after 4 months I have almost given up any hope of you honouring your word. All I can do now is NAME AND SHAME!
Id love to have my £15 tho if your conscience comes back
