depends, you say if you were given a car, any car, it's going to relative to the value of it, therefore high quotes aren't going to be seen as rediculous. My friend pays 13.5K on a lambo

I wouldn't pay £1900 to be insured on a Sierra Cossie.

Most I would pay for an ESCORT Cossie would be £1200

however, i cant help but think that a 4wd sapphire would be safer than a 2wd one

i love saff cossies as much as the next man but you know it will be great for about a month and then when you have to start sinking money into it left right and centre cos its basically a g reg sierra but more expensive you will start to hate it

thats the only drawback i can see, spending all my money on the car and insurance, i'd be buggered if it started to go wrong, which it probably would, being a 16 year old car.

referring to it as a 16 year old car has just made me realise how ridiculous it would be

i'll wait a year or so and get a 4x4
