They only look similar due to the way these sort of stadiums are built...I would presume thats the most cost effective way to build a huge stadium...

Back in the day styles of builds where different and you saw a lot of steep narrow stands...

I dont think they actively go out to make a stadium have no character...im sure there is something more to it...

It does look nice dont get me wrong, just Anfield has a bit of individuality, that doesnt look special enough, if that makes sense. Very cost effective though i'd imagine, which is probably one of the main reasons for that design.

Even more so outside the Premiership.

I.e.

Leicester:

Southampton:

Darlington:

There are a load more too, typically the above stadia cost well under £45million.

There you go...

Certain price ranges get you a certain type of build of stadium...

Cost effective etc..

I'd rather 4 proper stands, but then we don't need 60,000 seats so we have that choice. I fear one day all stadiums will be bowls

They will, corporate sponsored bowl stadia...

Liverpool fans... get ready for your stadium becoming the Carlsberg Stadium (or similar!)

If they turn down £100m over 10 years or so just for a name then they have something wrong with them

We always expected ours to be the Nike Stadium though so perhaps it won't be Carlsberg :S

But they are unique bowls, I dont mind that so much. I'm a traditionalist, its probably because I go to lower league matches with my Dad whose been to 60+ stadiums I guess.

Yeah but in fairness Mark, Allianz was built for a purpose and cost a lot more than the Emirates etc (though nowhere near Wembley costs PLEASE NOTE :O )

And the Ajax stadium also serves a purpose and was specially designed! On another note, I will hopefully be in that Ajax stadium ina few months

Aye, like I say... £100m for basically nowt, can't turn it down

Allianz Arena is just 1 in Germany, majority of Bundesliga clubs stadia are now soonsored due to the revamps or new builds for the WC!

I understand that RWE (Bayer Leverkusens sponsor) will soon be naming the BayArena the RWE BayArena :S

The one syou have mentioned + the KC Stadium Hulll (Kingston Communications)

Hudderfield?
York?

+ LOADS other in UK!

New Wembley is a joke

Sure it'll look alright when done, but fuckin hell how much has it cost? I bet The Emirates and the Stanley Park stadium will cost less with another stadium or two worth of change

Huddersfield - Mcapline Stadium or the Galpharm Stadium, think it changed
Someone in the conference has the Pirelli stadium, Burton Albion I think.

Then yeah the Kingston Communications Stadium.

But yeah, i'd take a stadium for free if it meant calling it The EasyJet or The Vauxhall Stadium.

Yeah I know what your saying...both of them probably cost more to build that the Emirates or our new ground will cost...

The Allianz more than likely had funding from the Government due to the WC...
