would never even entertain the ford but def would give the saxo a chance... or the 106, but preferably the saxo for the main reason that they r cheaper than the 106...

I've got one as my runaround. Its superb. i've had 1.4 and 1.6 corsa and its not quite as quick as the 1.6, but the handling is far superior. £300 f/c aswell.

I also owned a 1.6 corsa sport for two years...

There performance are very similar..but the Fiesta obviously has much better handling...in fact its the best handling car (bar my MR2) I have owned...

All mine cost me in two years of motoring was a set of wiper blades...4 new tyres...and servicing etc...

I used it daily...went everywhere in it...

Also mine used to do 125 miles to a tenner...

In fact I am sorry I sold it being truthful...I got rid of it with not a thing wrong with it...my other cars have had loads spent on things breaking down...

Mine was Panther Black
