I turfed half of my rear garden and a small patch out the front. Turned out OK in the end. Just a few patches on the old half that needs seed putting down. B&Q only seem to do the feed though (not the actual seeds )

We have actually waited until now to lay our turf at our new house. Before it was too dry.

i was told Autumn is the best time to lay turf as it's not as dry as the summer months.
