right, some pics from this mornings work!!!

got bumper on, skimmed smoothed part with filler, built up the sides where it needs to line up with arches with fibreglass and popped on first layer of filler!

same with rear bumper to meet up with arches

skimmed rear 3/4panel with filler cos its been repaired there and pretty messy!

skimed skirt where the join is with filler

second coat of filler is on the arches also











off now to c gf for the afternoon otherwise i may not live to finish the car.......hehe

then back to work on it tonight i hope

it sucks when the gf puts her foot down doesnt it lad :/ mines been trying to make me get rid of my car cause all Ive been doing lately is working on it. Think she'll be getting a slap

what about moding the shut lines here so it goes straight across rather than the line going along adn then down!???

is the bonnet and bumper staying like that?id had thought you would extend the bonnet aswell so you have an even line where the bonnet and bumper meets

UPDATE FROM TONIGHT SO FAR:-

have been busy once again, more filer and smoothing they are all pretty smooth now, have rubbed down teh wavy filler on the rear 3/4 and thats good now!

just welded on the extentions to the bonnet now and skimmed with layer fo fibreglass now, just waiting for that to dry and having a break!

dad is a farmer, mum is a cook and teaches food hygene cources etc!!

non of my friends have anything to do with bodywork, not learnt from anyone really just picked it up as i gone along really! would onle say its in the last year i have become quite good!! still improving all the time, once u get to a stage improving just seems to come naturally and jobs that once took u days take hours!
