No team in the world is in Arsenal's league when they are bang on form like tonight... even Barca lack that fluidity on occasion!!

I don't like it either BUT I would rather be successful than have a team full of Englishmen mid-table :S

This year I feel we finally have real strength in depth... we lose Gallas we have Senderos to come in, we lose Rosicky we have Ljungberg... I just hope we keep up this god form and fluidity

That said tot up the amount you have spent on those English players and it will become apparent why we have so few!!

Rooney and Ferdinand alone cost £60m for which we had alamost our entire 97/8 double winning side!!

Hardly, Yeah so Rooney is lacking at the moment but I think we all know his quality. Ronaldo just keeps getting better. Heinze is an amazing defender and does more than a lot of midfielders imo. Saha is looking good too. Nevillie, Rio both excellant defenders, Smithys back. Edders, awesome goal keeper.

Then theres Giggs, Richardson, Ole.

Hardly down to bear bones.

Bullshit name one no top 4 side who is better than us

local... Scholes, Neville and Brown are your only non-purchased (for extortianate fee) Englishmen and Scholes/Neville are from the youth crew of the early 90's!!!

Rooney, Saha, Ole, Smithy

Besides the midfield does a good job of compensating for any missing links, look at Giggs and Ronaldo, both can play up front if needed.
