steve clearly people dont listen to warnings... so if they aint gonna listen you carry it through don't you? in this case they were clearly told if you ignore this then you get banned. ignored so banned, it's not our fault if someone chooses to ignore it. we cannot go round and warn every user individually there are too many hence the rules clearly being posted for all to see again if they don't read that then it's not our fault is it?
Robmartin we have a section called "my car" if you want to post pics of ur car then u can HOWEVER if you go to an event / cruise and want your pics on our site we simply ask that you allow us to put them in the section dedicated to that instead of putting them on the forum. again if you don't want to then thats cool they don't go on the site we give users that option.

you've just proven how anal the site is! I actually purposely emailed you to ask what I did wrong because I didnt know...
but instead of actually replying to my email...where I was unoffensive and just questioning it...you chose to come on a site and answer someone elses post.

Still a little confused about why I've been banned!
At first i thought it was because I posted an ebay link....but I made a
point of reading the rules post in the for sale section before posting it
and assumed that since it said nothing it was ok.
Now on reading the locked posts topic I'm guessing that its because I put up
another post for the car.
If that is the case, then I personally would have said that they were
different posts. One advertising it for sale at £1500, and circumstances
changing, one advertising it for sale at auction.
Some sort of explanation wouldnt go amiss when banning people. Instead i
just got the 'you've been banned' page with 'please contact the site
administrator', but no way of doing that because I can't get passed that
page.

no steve and noone ever is aware of the full facts before they start taking their digs. maybe next time they will consider that fact (although it is doubtful).
for infos sake the name call was purely in retaliation for being called a knob when I am not the one acting like a knob here nor am i slagging off someone on a site I think they don't use.
I've been called worse and I'm sure it wont be the last time however without the full facts the comments are totally out of line.

and yes many others users have been banned although what that has to do with you I am unsure as they didn't go and slag me off on another site they got a weeks ban and then allowed back on.

As suggested a while back by TurboUK to cut down on the BTTT / bump / general shite replies in for sale topics and wanted posts will be turned off for a bit to see if it helps. If you're interested then PM the user.
As always accounts will be removed along with posts for those that only use the site to sell their old shit, and adding a few simple posts in other sections to avoid detection doesnt work either

I made a topic which i didnt make sticky *my fault* and i have now added this to the bottom.
clearly "no reposting topics to bump your old ads" stated by rikki didn't make clear the fact that you can't repost for ANY reason including "ive now added my car to ebay"
was that the statement you wanted a reply to or would that be where you and adam (who strangely is now in bed abroard) BOTH call me anal for the 5th time?
and just to clarify yet again i did NOT make this rule up I was just the unfortunate sod who ended up getting the slagging because you didn't understand what "no reposting" means.
