Saha is shit. He had that one on one chance at the very beginning and just passed it into the keepers body. Then just fluffed another good chance on his left foot.

And does Ronaldo ever pass or cross a ball when he is within 30yards of goal, or does he do a Lampard and shoot everytime?

Reasonable performance today. We are still shit at the back, People are allowed to run and then shoot without being picked up. Saha had a bit of a mare today. Rooney deserved a goal tonight some of his touches were world class as you would expect. The Kobenhavn keeper was immense for them today and didn't deserve to make that mistake but that's the way it goes.

Rooney is just saving his goals for against us on Sunday

Although I hope your midfield and defence is as bad as tonight.

I can see Rooney scoring at the weekend. But like you say if we defend like that against you then we are going to concede. Especially with people like Xabi Alonso/Risse picking it up deep and having a go, We are really struggling with this sort of thing this season. I think Scholes and Carrick are capable of holding the centre but the question remains about who you put on Gerrard to keep him quiet. We don't really have a 90 minute match fit player who is capable of running with him all game at the moment.

I dont think you have anyone in the team who could mark him out the game full stop. Keane was the only guy and he is gone now. You just have to defend the balls he puts in or stop him getting the shot in on goal.

I think if he plays 5 across the middle then we can control the game. Have the two wingers and Gerrard supporting the one forward (Kuyt if fit, Bellamy if not) should give us alot of attacking ability.

Gonzalez, Alonso, Sissoko, Gerrard, Pennant in midfield, possibly Garcia on the left though over Gonzalez.

Defence of..

Riise, Hyypia, Carra, Finnan as think Agger is injured, if not then him over Hyypia.

Yeah 5 in midfield away from home is not a bad call at all. I think our best chance will be to get Scholes to drop deep and get the ball to either Ronaldo or Giggs. Hopefully they can run it and turn your midfield around and get some balls in and around the box. I can't see us winning a midfield passing battle tbh.

No, your not going to win the central midfield battle. On the wings with Giggs and Ronaldo you could though, thats why a 5 man midfield for us would be best as can double up on either wing when needed.

Just hope we can make the most of the chances this year, as last season we were all over you for 90mins and missed loads of great chances, but then Rio got that header in the 93rd min

That was an important header.

You can never predict what will happen when Utd play Liverpool it's too important for too many reasons to be predictable

Yeah, thats true. I know if we play well then we should overpower your midffield and your defence isnt the best at the moment. So should be able to get some sort of result...but as you said you just cant predict them!
