Put it this way on a test in Performance Ford they changed the FMIC on a Focus ST and it gained almost 35 bhp on which essentially shows how tunnable your engine is. I know essentially they are not the same engines but the principle is there which we saw at Volvo RR day.

Been out for a few drives and runs well...And i must say it sound superb..The guys on volvo forums said it made there T4 sound like darth vader

fook they were right

Here it sucking in the air and then when gear changed or off throttle sounds like I have a DV in there already..Guys on s40concepts said you can hear the recirc valve more and thats what it will be ???? I dunno but sounds good...

DV tomorrow then getting it booked in for a remap somewhere.....

Also FMIC is an option fad next after remap..

car run well with no ill affects but only been on afew hrs...

pics tomorrow when DV fited too

youl lose the darth vader noise with a VTA DV

get a recric valve and you will keep the nose you currently have

i dno, my OE one was plastic and prone to failiure on remapped cars, theres no reason mavs would be better than my oe one, having said that, it may

I'll see what happens tomorrow with DV on..Remember I am getting it cheap cheap so I will remove it if I don't like it or has a bad effect..

If no Atmos DV you recommend uprating the Recirc valve when I get a remap?

Its different from car to car dude!!!! Id personally stick to a recirc tho if you do need to uprate, I dont think VTA's suit modern engines and management very well!

Never expected it to do anything....Just saying it's running fine, no flat spots from Ind kit or anything....
