If anything, it'll use the same engine as the Meriva VXR, that's pushing 180PS.

If it doesn't get the power as standard then I'm sure it wont be long before someone is offering remaps to 200+bhp

It ought to get the power. I don't see why Vauxhall would fill a gap in the Hotter Hatch market and then not give it the power and then not even fufil the task they set out to do in the first place.

I was close to buying a Punto Grande & if I had the choice I think I'd choose the Corsa over it
Quite similar, but the interior on the Corsa was loads better

im off to vaux tomoro to get a part so il have a look out for a corsa D as i havnt seen one in real lide yet.
Wasent keen on the other models but that looks spot on. Especially if it does get 200 brake

Just got back from a technical launch meeting of the Corsa D at Vauxhall - They recon its going to have 208 bhp !!!

they didnt have any D's in the showroom near me 
208bhp sounds fun. Kind of like a mini astra VXR just hope it happens

corsa b - classic
corsa c - ok when done right

If it has 200bhp it will
a) handle worse than the competition
b) look worse than the competition
c) not go as fast as it should
