true dat bubblevaux, dont think the 1.3 has a variable vane turbo, as i said ive done a couple and i'd stripped down one of the old ones, it dont look too special inside.

turbo is same. iinjectors and software only differences. both engiines are available now. z13dt(70), and z13dth(90)
power rise is from veriable geomatry turbo i ve herd
ive own a 1.3 cdti sxi n it was fine. only problem i ever had with it was a doggy altonator and a valve stem oil seal went so it smoke on cold start up
I now own a 1.7 cdti sri n its a far beter car in every respect

ill double check on EPC then sure turbos were same part number for dt and dth.
at the end of the day its got fiat involvment so theyre bouund to go wrong!
Yea, going on the information Fiat gave me who use the same engines it's a different turbo, but I guess that could be salesman bullshit we are all so used to.
