dont think pristine do powder coating but there is a place in mk that charge £35 and are called AF powder coating or something like that!

They do, do powder coating had my wheels all stripped back and re-coated last year. Cost £380 for the set! Bit pricey, but they did a top job!

Finetech Paints in Hatfield do some excellent powdercoating too! Just had my LET rocker cover coated by them!

there where all hot jet washed to clean them first,
then the inside where wiped with pannel wipe then scotched with red scotch bright, till clean and key'ed up.

the out side lips where sanded with 180grit till back to bare metal.
and any deep chips/kerbing was then filled,
then rest of the face of the rim was flatted back with wet 800 till dull and key'ed up,
sand down the filler with 180 again, till smooth them primer,
when the primers dry, wet sand that back will 800wet till smooth,
re clean with pannel wipe or simural(sp?)
then your ready to paint...

need to know any more... just ask.

Had mine done by BJV engineering in Hertfordshire, not a perfect job however I only paid 160 including fitting of new tyres and balancing of the wheels, with new valves in each wheel. Dont look too bad, look great when they are clean!
