Just been reading something about this game on the Liverpool Website about trying to keep it trouble free, and seen this:
quote:
The concourse at the away end of the stadium on Sunday being decked out with posters commemorating the Reds' glorious history, including the fifth European Cup.
Can really see the UTD fans being happy with that

Liverpool Team News...
Reina,
Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Riise
Garcia, Sissoko, Alonso, Gonzalez
Gerrard
Kuyt
Subs - Dudek, Paletta, Crouch, Pennant, Warnock.
As I said he looks to be going for a 5 man midfield but with Gerrard, Garcia and Gonzalez playing as attacking midfielders to support Kuyt. No Bellamy on the bench which is a suprise!
Im going for 2-1 Liverpool, with Kuyt first goal. Think we may go 2-0 up and Rooney get one back for a frantic end to the game which will probably give me a heart attack!

My bets...
Kuyt, 2-1 Liverpool, 66/1, £2.50
Rooney, 2-1 Liverpool, 100/1, £2.50
Gerrard, 2-1 Liverpool, 100/1, £10
Carragher, 3-1 Liverpool, 800/1, £3
Garcia, 2-0 Liverpool, 150/1, £3
Gerrard, 3-0 Liverpool, 400/1, £4
Two on for my GF but rest are mine....best come in!

Didnt deserve anything from that game.
Had no idea going forward and made it easy for the Utd defenders. And two stupid mistakes gave them the goals...carra out of position for the first, and porr clearence for the second (although was a great finish)
Out of the title race now IMO, just need to finish to top 4 and look to the FA and Champions League for a trophy.

Great goal from Rio Ferdinand. Well done Scholesy congratulations Controversial but I think we were aided by not having Ronaldo today. Praise from Alan Hansen. Fair play to the bloke for recognising good players in his arch rivals team.

He need to deicde who he wants to play ffs.
As much as I love momo he such sacrifice him and let gerrard play in the middle with alonso for the next 5 games straight.
Team looks so uninterested and scared infront of goal. Something needs to give that's the worst we've ever played at old trafford imo.

Pennant-----Sissoko-----Alonso-----Gonzalez
------------------Gerrard-------------------------

Where does Fowler fit in to the team? Is he just back because they've institutionalised him?!!

he is injured at the moment, some back problem.
Im sure once he is fit he will play a few games here and there, but he was only ever bought to be cover for Crouch/Kuyt/Bellamy.

he'll def play his part in games, as his link up play is still great and he is still a great natural finisher. Just needs a few games now to get his sharpness back.
