hmm the toby in northants brings back baaaaad memories!!!!
Would just like to say to those people saying 'er im not gonna come if i dont know where it is', that why say that?! the idea of the thread was to just see who was available for a meet on that date, theres no point planning everything to find out 10 people are visiting their great nan in calcutta that day is there!? I had the same prob when i was organising.

Agreed, if we don't know who's available, we can't arrange it.
If everyone is free on that day, we can agree a location between us, to please everyone.

but there are different levels of being available.
for example if the meet was in lincoln, i would have 4 hours less driving time to if it was in northampton, which would mean i could maybe work the morning or whatever

If this one is too far, I'll expect to see you at the next one, which will be organised closer to you.
This is what NWNW do - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=283923
Pleases everyone.
There would be no harm in taking everyones opinion and planning six months in six locations.
The good ones you use again, the ones were the local people still didn't attend you don't go to a second time.

ok, so Loughborough, Melton Mowbray (central for everyone), or somewhere else?
would be good to get a location which everyone is happy with for this meet.

I think somewhere central like loughborough, cos then everyones journey is cut down, and theres a chance of getting more people involved...

I'm still doing a silly amount of miles but I'm not fussy about the driving, cause thats what owning a car's all about

Are you going to paint a blue and white cross on your face, wear a kilt, then run down the nearest hill towards us holding it up with your goolies on show?

of course you can, i brought my 106 gti before.
Although its a corsa forum it doesnt actually mean you have to be in a corsa to attend the meets.
Unfortunately i wont be able to attend, im gonna be working as i work full weekends and driving from boro will be an absolute pain in the arse.
Eckman, if you need a halfway place to stay give me a bell you can kipp at my house
