Another draw, they're just lacking the edge that Donaldson brings. Still 3rd though.

Did you go Marc? I have no idea how we drew that. 1-0 up early on, they get a pen, their no.23 skies it and we go up the other end and score a cracker to make it 2-0 after only about 10mins. We were cruising. then the guy who missed the pen scores a beauty of a free kick and we lost control of the match.

Donaldson leaves York:
Hibernian have agreed a pre-contract with York striker Clayton Donaldson.
The former Hull man has attracted the interest of a host of clubs as a result of his goalscoring exploits this season.
York rejected bids from Scunthorpe and Accrington Stanley for Donaldson as they looked to keep hold of the Conference's top scorer.
However, Hibs have stolen a march on their rivals by signing Donaldson on a pre-contract as his current deal at York expires in the summer.
Donaldson will link up with Hibs for the start of next season as John Collins begins his plans for the 2007/2008 campaign.

York have signed 2 strikers, Rob Elvins from West Brom on a months loan and Richard Brodie from Newcastle Benfield.
Midfielder Byron Webster has had his contract terminated.

York City 'v' Tamworth
3rd versus' bottom. Clayton Donaldson still banned and West Brom striker Elvins should make his debut.
I'll be off
Prediction 3-0

What a load of shite! They're totally lost without Donaldson and today was a taster of whats to come next season. Defender Nathan Peat is rubbish yet gets played every week. The crowd boo him every week too. Winger Woolford made some crap attempts and just wasn't doing anything. the score was 0-1 to Tamworth come half time and the ref made some shockingly biased decisions. Star right back Darren Craddock wasn't brought on till the second half. Tamworths goal keeper elbowed a York player in the box knocking him down and nothing was donw. Craddock then trips somebody and is booked With 30 minutes left it went 0-2 and we left, along with quite a few others.
God knows whats happened to the pitch since I last came but its a disgrace:

YESSSSSSS!!!! finally ive lost count how many away games ive been to but today was my first win! Started amazingly well 1-0 up after 27secs and 2-0 shortly after. Brodie getting a goal was ace he looked delighted and was mobbed by the fans and then he set up the goal for Woolford to make it 4-0.

We were rubbish really on sat. First half not bad, donaldson missed to one on ones. 2nd half was dire from both teams but ill take the 3 points we need to grind out results like this if we are to be serious promotion contenders

Won 2-1 last night . First half not too great, had a few chances, then Smart for Northwich scored an absolute beauty from 25 yards.
2nd half much better, got a bit lucky with our first but we deserved it, then Wooly did well to get onto a cross and put the ball past their keeper.
Good turnout from northwich.....41 fans
