Funny how Southend now saying they'd take the money 'cause they've realised one decent player doesn't make a team Couple months ago Eastwood was hailed by them as the best player outside the Prem and he'd help Southend stay up

Southend probably realising Championship football may not be at Root's Hall next season and might have to take a knock down price for Eastwood. IMO they should have taken the offer when (I think) Derby made a good offer circs £1.5mill wasn't it?
