Managed to track down a set of SRi rims for my car at last. Have been looking for a set of SRi or Exclusiv ones for ages!

Makes the car look 10x better imo Just a few more bits to do then I'm done!!

Wheels could do with a bit of a refurb at some point, but I'm now skint atm, so will have to wait a bit

Getting there though

Cheers

Yeh they make such a difference, was after the Exclusiv ones more, but think these suit my car better - even if they are a bit common!

Thanks James - Have a few more plans up my sleeve as I said the other day. Your old splitter is also gonna be a temporary solution - can't stand having the standard one on it anymore!!

Have been making a couple of additions to my SXi again..

Now has an 8k HID Conversion on dipped beam, which are awesome imo, and also another little one - swapped my SXi badges for the little red decals found on Vectra A/B's and Astra G's which I personally really like and was the last bit of chrome on my car Also stuck my old Ibiza splitter back on in a moment
of boredom!

Couple of other bits on the way in the months to come, but this is how it stands as of last night:

Right, Update time again!

Firstly,

Pre PVS Cleaning:

Car was absolutely filthy before PVS - wheels had never been cleaned properly since I brought them, rear brake drums were getting filthy and rear arches were starting to look like ploughed fields! So decided I'd attack it all the Saturday before PVS:

Wheels Before:

Wheels After:

Rear Drums Before:

And After:

Rear Arches Before:

And After:

Also fitted an Irmy Cross Hatch Grille and Smoked 3/4 Sized Plate before PVS:

And also another mod I mentioned previosuly was my GT3 Straight Through Centre Section. Finally got a vid, which is a bit crap, but will do atm

Before (standard pipework, with 1.8 SRi backbox):

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-7398246446853019558&hl=en-GB

And After (1.8 SRi backbox & GT3 Straight through centre section)

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-4718986399289935752

Doesnt sound all that different in the vids Will get a better one at some point - is quite a lot louder and sounds very nice and deep imo.

Loads more still on the cards - next month should have a nice update

Ebay about £60 iirc

Bit of a pain to fit - not as straight fit and easy as they claimed!! Have to cut the centre section pipe and also cut abotu 2 inches off the new GT3 one to stop the backbox sticking out a mile! Once all sooted up though, it sounds class.

Thanks mate.

Yeh subtle is all I wanted to do to it! There are a few more things lined up to do mainly before Trax etc, but am probably gonna be selling up end of this year/early next year depending on money and if the right car comes up

No mods done in ages, but finally got round to one more for the moment....

Did my fav mod on the car today that I've been planning to do for ages - back projector headlights

Also fitted a Vectra C air intake pipe to the airbox whilst I was at it. Pulls a hell of a lot nicer in the 1st 3 gears

Apologies for the crappy pics - light was going fast when I took these this eve

1 more mod to come before Trax hopefully. Will be on the CS stand this time round too!
Also been doing some subtle tinkering over the past couple of months - mainly interior. Will get pics up soon.
