just been reading a few reviews. They all say it's one of the best games on the 360 so far. Graphics are unbelievable and the sounds effects are scary and cool at the same time.
Saw some video footage of a grunt getting chopped in half by a chainsaw  blood sprays all over the screen 
I shall be purchasing this, fcuk the overdraft

I've bought it  well worth your hard earned cash guys. I was told however it isn't the longest game created so stick it on the hardest setting available, (easy is too easy, apparently) to unlock and extreme difficulty setting. The graphics are and the gameplay is so fluid. I'm very impressed and the weapons are cool. One of your guns has a chainsaw on it and instead of melee attacking you can saw right through the enemy. This game is awesome, i'll say no more, just go and buy it

apparently it takes around 6/7 hours to complete on easy mode. Insane mode can take three times as long. 
I like the way the enemies move around the levels, really smooth movements. The AI is supposed to be good as well.

I'm in love !!!!!!!!!!! (sorry steve) but this game is the dogs danglies. I also got the ltd. edition startegy guide with an extra art book all characters architecture etc. is really cool will post up pics off phone.

think the idea is to just get rid of the bad guys. From reviews I've read Gears of War is a bit thin on the ground when it comes to plot.
It's a third person shooting but you still get the reticule when aiming etc.

Steve I was watching some videos of GOW last night and the missus asked me if it was a new game for the 360 and what was it called. I said "it's called Gears of War and it's out tomorrow". She then said, "don't buy it"
