I like the wheels, just not sure whether I approve of having fitted them to one of them. Sits well though even if its a bit improper.

Stephans car has been in the making for some time now, so nothing new. It got to the stages in the pictures you see earlier on in the year but when the boost started to be wound up its run into head gasket issues and to my knowledge these have yet to be resolved. The plan is for it to hit 1000bhp+
Apart from the prototype cars (these are now scrapped) There is one silver Lotus Carlton that keeps popping up for sale on the trader from time to time. This car was painted by a dealership before the owner took delivery of the car as his other half didn't like green cars !! The car IMHO looks pants in silver and this particular example looks even more ropey as the doorshuts ect are still green

Not to my taste personally, but respect the work that has gone into it.
I prefer them stock and clean

BTB one still has a standard engine, in fact the mechanicals were salvaged from a burnt out car and put into a new shell. You'll notice however the bumpers and bodykit are not genuine items

- Rear diff had an external oil cooler
- External water spray on the charge cooler rad
- Exhaust is the BTB 72mm stainless item available for all LC's (I have one on mine) although Joe has diffent tail pipe trims and has no CAT's.
Everything else running gear wise is stock and as with most LC's running in good nick puts out over 400bhp on the rollers (420 in Joe's case)

Is'nt there an issue with removing cats on an LC due to back pressure problems ?

Yup, they seem to develop that nasty smoking habit from the turbo's. Depends whether you wanna live with the fact that pigeons start dropping out the tree's if you get stuck in traffic underneith them
