was just coming in here to post that!

Im hoping those two link up really well tonight as you need someone like him when Gerrards on the right. And if it does work we should put a bid in for him!

Only £1 on each sadly enough. But better than a kick in the nads.

£1 on each. Youve got to start betting like a man, atleast a £5 on every bet!

30/1

did anyone else think Richards looked a bit out of his depth against Robben? I've liked the look of him for man city but i think that's too big a step just now for him

Possibly, but Robben did keep falling over a bit too easily.

I only managed to see the 2nd half as I was playing footy myself but from that half I could not understand what the comentators were going on about. Kept saying it was a good display and they deserved to win etc, when Holland scored it was like they did not deserive it yet the stats showed they have twice as much ball than us and we barerly thretened thier goal. It was one of the worse Holland sides there has been in a long time (they were right about that) but the praise they were laying on was a bit undue from what I saw

TBH I dont know what people expect.

Its a midweek friendly and some of these guys have already played over 20-25 games this season when they didnt even have a proper summer off. They arent going to go all out are they.

World Class players don't need to play really hard to do well - thats the issue we don't really have world class players.

I'm always amazed when people talk about playing so many games. It must be a hard life to play 180 minutes of football in 7 days and spend the rest of the time training for it. If you are not fit enough for that then thier trainer needs sacking

Take your point on board but IMO if your not going to give 100% then no point in even playing

Every single player should feel proud and privileged to wear the shirt and give it there all no matter what type of game it is, and what about all the fans that make the effort to go over and watch the game. I've just got back and I must say that the game was the only dissapointment of my week out there.

Dont think some players realise how lucky they are sometimes, i'd give anything to be in thier position and if it were me playing i'd be giving 100% week in week out at whatever level I was playing. Not just having a go at England here either, me and about 2,000 others went to Blackpool today to sit on some shitty temporary stand in the pissing down wind & rain to see them play like shit and lose 3-1, after the game not 1 of the players came across to clap us for supporting them during the game
