Yep that was the engine spec.... keeping it similar but it won't be running on Autronic anymore. Its having DTA S60 PRO ECU, 440cc Injectors and a silencer in the exhaust lol (Ade ran it with a side exit with no silencing beings as it was a drag car).

Unfortunetely it won't be as quick as it was.... 3 reasons:
1) Im keeping the cars interior as its fully retrimmed and I want to take passengers so the car will be quite a bit heavier than the Nova.
2) Im down tuning it slighty for reliability (so no Nitrous like Ade was running....yet)
3) It hasn't got drag radials

Needless to say im hoping it will still go well and will hopefully attract a little more attention than the popular LET engine route.

In the nova the engine was producing in the region of 270bhp with 330lb's ft torque @ 20PSi Boost, before NOS.

Thankyou for making me welcome by the way.

Hi Jules,

Well beings as you asked..... (its not pretty though lol)
The Red Nova is now in the scrapyard in the sky (along with those that horrid shopping list on the door )

The Cally you see in background was a Turbo that I picked up for a bargain £900. Naturally the engine and box were "lifted" and the shell is now also scrapped along with the Nova.

We've got a special project lined up for that engine but i'll explain about that in the projects section as its not for a car of mine.

And this is what the Silver GSi looks like

Cheers

Neil

Haha, the cars have been built over the last 7 years and I wish I did have a lot of money. Owe the bank quite a bit for doing all this But its only money at the end of the day. Might as well have fun when you can

Yes living on a farm does have its advantages My Dad isn't too impressed when i clog the barns up with car bits though

Thread now started in Projects section of the corsa build

Sorry forgot to answer the question.

No only did the spray work on the Red Nova and the bodykit on the Silver Civic in the projects section. But try and do as much of the work ourselves.

Neil
