there's a fair few very tidy low mileage nova's up on ebay at the moment, i just got 1 too. must be alot of ''elderley fathers, who are sadly no longer able to drive the cars''

the thing i like most about mine is the mileage, have mots to prove,

went to look at it today, its like stepping back in time! its had a couple bits of welding done but they look good quality welds and the underneath is a solid as anything for its age! will be collecting it tomorrow, pics will follow!

Just collected the nova! Looks even minter now its home, very happy. just noticed there is only 1 wing mirror, the other one is blanked off properly so it hasnt been ripped off.. did really old cars only have 1?
We started it up before loading on the trailor, it runs and starts ok but smokes a lot, im hoping its just the head gasket letting oil flow into the cylinders, or at worst just the stem seals melted when it overheated. Ill get some pics loaded up tomorrow night when i start the cleaning!

part of me thinks, cheap valver it, or turbo, but i really want to keep it 100% original, has anyone got some twin 40s kicking about? and a 1.3 cam? donations greatly accepted

i know of a tuned 20SEH but i still think LET it would be cool!

and the mirror, the 2nd one was an optionaly extra i believe

They even made standard ones in Hungary. Unless it was some kind of mad old rusty Opel saloon I saw in Budapest that wasn't a Nova Coupe.
