i dont fit i dont mind lol took me ages to do icv and about 6 calls to beardy



lee why you reckon it stalls out then how does the cts cause this

the cts send the ecu a signal to basically say what the water temperature is, the ecu then uses this signal to alter fuelling. obvicously when the thermostat opens the sensor should tell the ecu and it will put less fuel in. the ecu takes whatever the cts is saying as gospel sadly, and it could take months before the ecu recognises the signal as being wrong.

therefore you wouldnt have an ecu light even though the sensor could be fooked. for less than a fiver, its a good thing to try

as above. its probably not putting as much fuel down as it should be on start up

u had this problem before on any of your conversions lee where it drops out at fire up then after second or third time its fine....

so once cts is clicked in do i need to do anything else before firing up?

changed afm and icv and have lambda just incase

if i change cts and this split pipe by powercap


what else could it be... thats surley everything it could be...

lambda will bring up the light btw if its faulty

Mines a Early Xe so doesnt have a lambda sensor ect...

Gonna order a Cts 2morro morning...best place to start...but like i said only does it every so often wen warm...put it will struggle to idle sometimes...

if it only a £5 its worth a try..il ring autovaux 2morro

might be more costly from autovaux, motorfactors are cheaper normally and stock them on the shelves
